The 2026 session ended in May. Since then the scores have held still, because nothing new got voted on. That changes on January 13, 2027, when the General Assembly comes back to the Capitol.
1. Scores come alive again
Once new bills start getting filed and voted on, the Sunday engine picks them up. Scores will move week to week, and the Sunday Update will tell you whose record changed and why. If you've been waiting to see your own lawmakers in motion, this is when it starts.
2. Two bills ready for a sponsor
CESA and FWMRA are both written, versioned and ready to file. Between now and January, our job is finding lawmakers willing to carry them. We reached out to all 100 legislators this year, and we keep those doors open on both sides of the aisle.
3. Watching the AI law land
Colorado's new law on AI in housing, job, credit and healthcare decisions takes effect January 1, 2027. We filed comments on the rules, and we'll keep watching how they work once real people start getting notices. Here's what's at stake.
4. More ways to talk back
- Lawmakers responding in their own words. Any official we score can add their side to their profile. They can't touch the number.
- Telling us where you stand on a bill. Support or oppose, by district, so lawmakers can see what their own constituents think.
- Following a bill. Get an email when one you care about moves.
Some of this is already live and some is still being built. We'll mark each piece on the timeline as it ships.
5. Plain-English notes as things happen
When something big moves at the Capitol, we'll explain it here, in plain English, with what it means for you and how to weigh in.
